We collect only what we need to make ScopeQuote useful and to keep the service safe. What we collect: - Account info (email, name, ZIP code, property type) you give us during sign up and onboarding. - Files you upload (photos, quotes, insurer letters) — stored privately in your account. - Diagnostic data (browser type, IP address, basic usage events) so we can detect abuse and improve the product. How we use it: - To run the features you ask for: quote checks, damage triage, claim organization, document storage. - To respond to your contact-form messages. - To show ads. We don't sell your personal information to advertisers. Geo-targeting uses your approximate state/city, not your exact location. Who we share it with: - Service providers (cloud hosting, AI inference) under contract. - Law enforcement when required by a valid legal process. - We will tell you before transferring your data to a successor entity if ScopeQuote is acquired. Your controls: - You can delete documents from the Vault at any time. - Email a deletion request through the contact form to remove your account and associated data. Children: ScopeQuote is not intended for users under 18. Security: We use industry-standard encryption in transit and at rest. No system is perfect — please don't upload information you wouldn't be willing to share with your insurer or contractor.
